Cleaning out desks...

Ahhhh!!! Does anyone else have a pile that looks like this after your kids bring home all of the last day of school "stuff"??!!

So we've had LOTS of brown bags the last couple of weeks. I try to send all "throw away" stuff when my kids have field trips. I'm worried they won't come home with their box :) and since it's the end of school, LOTS of field trips and outings. 

Today I made PB&J, a shortbread cookie, pirate bootie, and cheddar cheese sticks. When my kids go on a field trip, they also get a Capri Sun drink. They think it's special!

MENU May 25 - May 31

I was out of town for Memorial Day weekend. I went to visit my grandparents in Oregon. So dad was home alone with the kids! He does a great job making meals, when required :) I got home Monday night and we ended up just having leftovers instead of going to Subway. There was lots of stuff in the fridge that needed to be eaten. And the pics of lunch may slow down a bit, because this is the last week of school!!! Time to store away the lunch boxes for a few months. 

Bagel ham and cream cheese sandwich, goldfish, canteloupe, and a pickle. 

Pancake strips with raspberry jam, crackers with pepperoni and cheddar cheese slices.

MENU May 18 - May 24, 2014

Apple, string cheese, ham fried rice, and chocolate chip cookie bar. 

Mixed nuts, FSTG (food should taste good) chips, cucumbers and ranch, and strawberries.
