Time for school lunches again! Onion bagel with vegetable cream cheese, half an apple, trail mix of goldfish, peanuts, & fruit leather, and a windmill gingerbread cookie. I'll miss my little stinkers while they eat lunch at school! :(

A medical journey I'm taking, things that inspire me, etc. I like having a place to spew the thoughts in my head, to clear space in there :)

Snicker doodles
We're making snicker doodles for my cousin Katherine's wedding. I love the recipe in the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook. As a matter of fact, most every recipe I've tried from it has been fabulous. It's definitely my go to. Pray it doesn't rain tomorrow for Kat's outdoor reception!

Seven Layer Dip
We love this! And even though it's an appetizer, we sometimes just have it for dinner.
-refried beans mixed with taco season
-guacamole or avocado mixed with lemon juice
-sour cream
-salsa
-grated cheese
-sliced olives
-sliced green onions
Serve with tortilla chips!

Drink more water!
This is my new system for making sure I drink enough water. I fill it up my 4 cup water bottle at the beginning of the day, then try to stay on track with the times I've written on the side. Between 7am and 2pm I drink 4 cups, then I refill and drink another 4 cups between 2pm and 10pm. It really helps me! And it's made me realize how little water I've been drinking in the past. Drink up!
